Serious Sexual Assault, Oct 15, 10: p.m. Euclid/Main - Suspect Sketch, Info. South

SERIOUS SEXUAL ASSAULT C10-236648
On October 16, 2010, members of the Winnipeg Police Service entered into an investigation regarding a serious sexual assault involving a 17 year old female victim.
 
Investigators have since learned that on October 15th at approximately 10:00 p.m., the victim was walking in the area of Euclid Avenue when she was approached by an unknown male who requested a “light.” The victim provided the male with a lighter and continued to walk towards Main Street. The victim was subsequently assaulted from behind and knocked to the ground. The suspect continued to physically assault the victim at which time a serious sexual assault occurred.
 
The suspect fled the area on foot.
 
The victim left the area and eventually disclosed the incident to her caregivers, resulting in police being notified.
 
The suspect is described as: Male, Caucasian, 5’9” tall, thin build, darker acne complexion, long dark brown hair pulled back in a ponytail, goatee/moustache, wearing: a blue baseball cap, backwards with a checked zip up hoody and dark pants.
 
The suspect was observed to have a tattoo on his neck and on his hand from his thumb to his pointer finger.
