9:00am to 4:00pm.


Workshop description:
In this workshop, participants will examine two aspects of resilience: Deep Roots and Strong Wings. Topics include:
*  Attachment Theory:  the primary needs of children and youth
*  The Link between Addictions and Disrupted Childhood Attachment
*  Recognizing and Supporting Hidden Resilience in high risk children & youth
*  Who are our children’s teachers? Comparing the Attachment and the Electronic Villages


Facilitator Frances Ravinsky (MA, Clinical Psychology) is a freelance community development consultant. She has worked for two decades in First Nation communities and in social service organizations in urban centres on projects relating to early years and parenting, healing and wellness, and art-based approaches to community empowerment.
