The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 12yr old, Jaeda VANDERWAL.
Vanderwal has been missing since October 12th, 2010 from Saskatchewan. Vanderwal is originally from Manitoba, but had been residing in Saskatchewan prior to her running away from that setting. Vanderwal managed to hitch hike back to Winnipeg and her current whereabouts are unknown.
Vanderwal is described as: female, Aboriginal, 5’3” tall, 180lbs, medium length black/ brown hair and brown eyes. She may be wearing a white tank top and blue jeans with silver designs on the back pockets. She has a piercing in her bottom lip and her right ear has several piercings including high up in the cartilage.
Vanderwal is considered at risk of being exploited, victimized and is easily influenced by others. She is known to frequent the Main Street and West End areas of Winnipeg. Vanderwal has been known to hitch hike within the Province and may head to Brandon as well as Portage La Prairie.
