Lend out your back garden!

Twenty-four new-Canadian families in the William Whyte Neighbourhood  have benefitted from neighbours willing to lend out their back gardens to newcomers to enable them to grow veggies - some of which aren't readily available in Winnipeg.  

Highlighted during the interview on the CBC Radio on August 9th was a new-Canadian  family who were raised-bed gardening on Machray, producing among other veg, squash and zucchini leaves for certain cultural  dishes.
