RESIDENTAL BREAK AND ENTER ARREST C10-180764
As previously released, on August 11th, 2010 at approximately 12:50 a.m., Winnipeg Police Service Uniform Members along with Emergency Services Responders were dispatched to a residence within the 500 block of Mountain Avenue.
Upon arrival officers located a number of individuals that had been physically assaulted by four unknown males that had forced entry into the residence.
Three individuals were transported the hospital in unstable condition and all have since been upgraded to stable condition.
The investigation by Members of the Division 13 Crime Unit has revealed that a 25 year old male, as well three males yet to be arrested, forced entry into the residence and proceeded to assault the occupants within. The suspect males stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.
Peter George SCOTT, 25 years of Winnipeg has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Break and Enter Commit Indictable Offence (Robbery with Weapon)
- Aggravated Assault x 2
- Assault Cause Bodily Harm
- Assault with a Weapon
SCOTT has been detained in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Division 13 Crime Unit.
