Alfred Ave 500 Block Sat. July 17 4: 40 a.m. Shots fired at residence

On Saturday, July 17^th, 2010 at approximately 4:40 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service Uniform Members responded to the area of the 500 block of Alfred Avenue regarding shots that were fired into a residence.

 

The investigation has revealed that a number of persons were inside the residence at the time of the shooting, and that a 20 year old male had been shot. 

 

The male victim has been treated and released from hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his upper body.

 

The investigation is continuing.
