Needle Drop Boxes - Locations

The six needle drop boxes were installed on Manitoba Hydro poles located on City of Winnipeg property.

The following needle drop box locations were chosen for their proximity to places where discarded needles are found:

• Osborne Village, back lane between Osborne and Pulford, ½ block south of River Ave: with ongoing community consultation, this location was moved approximately 1½ blocks

• Main St. & Henry Ave. on the walkway at the northwest corner
• King St. and Sutherland Ave (west of Main St.)
• Sutherland Ave. ½ block east of Main St., close to the hotel
• Henry Ave. & Martha St.
• Good St. at Broadway Ave.
