MALE SHOT C10-131432
On June 15, 2010 at approximately 1:35 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service were in the area of Burrows Avenue and McGregor Street when officers observed sounds of a gunshot.
Members subsequently investigated the matter further at which time an injured male was located in the area of Burrows Avenue and Andrews Street. Officers observed the male to have sustained a lower body injury consistent with a gun shot wound.
The 18 year old male victim was transported to hospital in stable condition.
The investigation has revealed that the victim was confronted by a group of unknown males at which a firearm discharge took place.
