Scotia St Bikeway 8 a.m. till dusk Sundays & Stat. Hols. - Local vehicular Traffic Only

Four city bikeways open for the season on Sunday
TAKE that car off the road, it's time to take a bike: on Sunday,
the city's four weekly roadway bikeways will open for the season.

From now until the end of summer, on every Sunday and statutory holiday, parts of Wellington Crescent, Wolseley Avenue, Scotia Street and the entire length of Lyndale Drive will be closed to vehicular through-traffic from 8 a.m. to dusk.

The four bike paths are:
-- Wellington Crescent -- from just west of the Maryland Bridge
to the western end of Academy Road
-- Wolseley Avenue -- from Raglan Road to Maryland Street
-- Lyndale Drive -- the entire length
-- Scotia Street area -- from Anderson Avenue at St. John's, to St. Cross Street, north to Cathedral Avenue, east to Scotia, north to Forrest Avenue, west to Ord Street and north to Newton Avenue.
Drivers are reminded that while the bike paths are open on Sundays and holidays, only local vehicular traffic is permitted on the roadways.
