Drug Arrest, Charles 400 Block - Firearm reported, not located, June 19

DRUG ARREST                                     C10-135583

On Saturday, June 19^th, 2010 at approximately 5:20 p.m., Winnipeg Police Service Uniform and Tactical Team Members, attended to the area in the 400 block of Charles Street as a result of a report of a male had been seen with a firearm. 

 

During this investigation, officers entered into a subsequent investigation when they located a male in possession of a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana. 

 

Darryl Andrew MURPHY, 25 years, of Winnipeg, has been charged with Possessing Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Cannabis. MURPHY has detained in custody at the Provincial Remand Centre.

 

Firearms were not located during the initial investigation that had brought officers into the area.
